 Beach Tour 

Life´s a Beach!  Watch as the farm truck becomes the Beach Cruiser complete with outdoor shower, boogie boards, masks and fins, Frisbee, and even fishing equipment if you want to try.  Cruise the South Pacific coast and spend the day at a beautiful beach relaxing, or take a peek at a lot of beaches including Matapalo, Guapil, Dominical, Dominicalito, Puerto Nuevo, Playa Hermosa, Playa Uvita, Playa Ballena, Playa Ventanas, and others.  Stop for lunch at a Tilapia farm with a beautiful waterfall just 100 meters away.  It´s a great way to rinse off the salt from the swim at the beach!

Chiripo Mountain and Hot Springs Tour 

Follow the Chiripo River to the base of the highest peak in Costa Rica, Mt. Chiripo!  The spectacular river and mountain views will leave you breathless.  The abundance of flowers, both growing wild and in the gardens of the Ticos will dazzle you with their color.  Stop by a little farm for fresh goat cheese and yogurt.  If you feel like a soothing bath, the Hot Springs are a short hike away.  Enjoy lunch at a mountain retreat with
forever views.  Bring your raincoat, this is the rainforest!

Nauyaca Waterfall Horseback Tour

 

This is a must!  Just 20 minutes from the Finca (transportation provided) is the trailhead for the famous horseback tour to one of the most scenic waterfalls in the whole country!  Everyone that takes this tour raves about it.  Breakfast and lunch provided. http://www.cataratasnauyaca.com/

The Farm Tour

This may be the best tour of all, it costs me Nothing!   Hike the well maintained trails that abound at Finquita Lucita.  Walk the bougainvillea lined road to the observation tower at the top of the farm.  There you will have a 340 degree view.  (Unless I decide to remove a few trees and make it a 360 degree view!)  The seasoned hiker may want to take the "Stairmaster" trail through the primary jungle to the bottom of the farm.  Be warned!  It´s a lot of steps!  Perhaps you would like to take the trail through the orange grove and coffee plantation to the Primary Rainforest of the property.  Hike beside massive trees and be sure to keep your eyes open!  You may encounter toucans, a three toed sloth, eagles, owls and many other rainforest critters.  Of course, there are always myriad flowers and trees in bloom.   This is a bird-watchers paradise with butterflies and hummingbirds galore.  You can hike the same trail every day, and you are sure to encounter new surprises every time!
